The walk up to the Annapurna Base Camp is a classic trip right into the heart of the mountains.Though it has some steep climb, it is not difficult and the views along the way are spectacular. The Sanctuary Trek traverses a variety of terrain, from lowland villages and rice fields to glaciers and offers magnificent views of high mountains. When you reach the base camp you will be surrounded by soaring Himalayan peaks.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu (Boudha, Swambunath, Pashupatinath)
Day 03: Drive to Phedi from Kathmandu (6 hrs). Trek starting point.
Day 04: Trek to Pothana.
Day 05: Trek to Landrung.
Day 06: Trek to Chommorong.
Day 07: Trek to Bamboo.
Day 08: Trek to Deuirali.
Day 09: Trek to Machhapuchhere base camp.
Day 10: Trek to Annapurna base camp.
Day 11: Trek to Himalaya Lodge.
Day 12: Trek to Sinuwa.
Day 13: Trek to Jhinua danda.
Day 14: Rest day at Jhinua danda. Visit the hot spring.
Day 15: Trek to Landrung.
Day 16: Trek to Birethati, and drive to Pokhara.
Day 17: Rest day in Pokhara.
Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu
Day 19: Departure.

All meals and accommodations in tea houses during the trek, trek leader, assistant trekking guide, porters (depending on the group size), ACAP park entry fees, three nights hotel in Kathmandu, two nights hotel in Pokhara, private transportation from Kathmandu to Phedi, flight Pokhara / Kathmandu, all sightseeing entry fees, National park fees.
Services Excludes
Insurance (should cover helicopter evacuation in case of an emergency), hard / soft drinks ad bottled mineral water, meals in Kathmandu and Pokhara, any other expenses in case of any political disturbances or natural disaster.
